"CORNSHOCKS IN THE MIST" is a beautiful work of color and light, mood and atmosphere. This lovely work pictures a country scene of a field of cornshocks. The morning mist lifts and the sun lights up the field and the trees. The beautiful colors of autumn is a refreshing contrast to the cool colors of the hill behind it that is still shaded. If the viewer could imagine themselves in this peaceful place, they would definitely smell the sweet smell of fresh country air.. They might hear a gentle breeze rustling the abundance of beautifully colored leaves. They might hear the crickets, squirrels, maybe a coyote run over the hill. It is always the goal of the artist to convey to the viewer the beauty and wonder of nature. This work evokes feelings of peace and serenity, beauty and grace, rest and relaxation, relief and refreshment.
